Comedic actor Kevin Hart took to Instagram on Monday (August 28) to implore his celebrity friends to be a part of his Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge, including JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle.

Beyonce was in Haiti on behalf of her charity, BeyGood visiting those impacted by the 2010, 7.0 magnitude earthquake. The catastrophe took the lives of nearly 300,000 Haitians and caused billions of dollars in damage.
Beyonce is hoping to shift some of her spotlight on to Haiti which continues to suffer since the devastating earthquake that struck the island five years ago. One of her stops in the capital port-au-prince, St. Damien hospital, the only children’s hospital in Haiti. St. Damien provides high quality medical treatment for disadvantaged and sick children in Haiti.
Mrs. Carter is no stranger to philanthropy. According to her website, in the mere year since the founding of her BeyGood charity, the organization has reached several million people across the world through food drives, school supply rallies and fund raising including galvanizing the “BeyHive” to donate to the victims of the Nepal, India earthquake.
Beyonce recently partnered with her personal trainer, exercise physiologist Marco Borges, to launch the 22 Days Nutrition plant-based home delivery meal service. The service offers three meal plans, where you can sign up to receive anywhere from one to three meals a day for 22 days delivered to your door each week. According to the website, all of the meals are gluten-free, soy-free and organic. Each meal is “a perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat with limited salt and sugar.”
“The program’s philosophy is based on the concept that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit and on the 22nd day you are well on your way to forming new habits,” says a statement. The meal plan is targeted to those who want to lose weight, cook less or simply “experience a whole new way of eating.”
