Sleeping with your favorite rapper just got a little easier, thanks to this unique and somewhat bizarre brand of hip-hop inspired pillows. A company with the hilarious name of “Soft Ass Rappers” has come up with a custom series of hip-hop themed pillows, each of which boast the face of one of the game’s best and brightest. For $75 dollars, you can get your hands on one of ten pillows, featuring the likenesses of Drake, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Frank Ocean and Rihanna. With the exception of the Drizzy edition, which features a rendition of the infamous “Crying Drake” meme, each pillow is designed to copy the artist’s signature facial expression.
A$AP Rocky has just announced the launch of his own signature brand of KandyPens — the Flacko Jodye Collection. The stylish vaporizer pens come with a wood veneer finish outlined with gold in an effort to mimic the wood paneling of classic-era Rolls-Royces, while the carrying case is intended to resemble a 1930s-era cigarette box.
It’s also equipped with multiple attachments for liquids, oils, waxes and various concentrates.
“A$AP Rocky is truly a tastemaker of our generation in both music and fashion,” President and CEO of KandyPens Graham Gibson said in a press release. “So we were thrilled when he wanted to work with us on creating a vaporizer set for the future, while at the same time capturing a classic style, reminiscent of the golden era. We are ecstatic at how this project turned out and can’t wait to see how the market reacts.”
The fashion-forward A$AP Mob rapper has a history of working with elite brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Dior Homme, Courvoisier and Alexander Wang.
The limited edition vaporizer retails at $148 and only 100 of them have been made.
A$AP Mob is hitting the road for a 19-city tour starting this Fall. The hip-hop collective, composed of names like A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Nast, A$AP Twelvyy, A$AP Ant and A$AP TyY, has a strong and loyal following, so each show is predictably going to be all the way turned up.
To make matters even more exciting, Mob affiliates, Playboi Carti and Key! will be joining them on the tour. The group has a plethora of songs together and also has a collab project out, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1. The second installment of these tapes, Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, is set to drop later on this year, which gives fans a perfect amount of time to indulge and learn all the words in time for the tour.
The tour will kick off on September 23 in Lowell, Massachusetts and wind all across the country before the finale in Broomfield, Colorado on November 5. Check out the full details below and make sure you’re ready to secure your tickets this Friday, July 28th, at 10AM on ASAPMob.com.
Rakim “A$AP Rocky” Mayers is teaming with Courvoisier to serve as Brand Ambassador for the French cognac company.
The partnership includes A$AP Rocky appearing in print and digital content as well as hosting exclusive experiences as part of the new “Honor Your Code” campaign.
“I think your code is equivalent to your standards and your morals. It’s whatever you believe in. And you should always stand by and honor what you believe in,” says the New York-raised rapper/model. “Courvoisier’s commitment to quality, old-school production methods, design and art speaks to me.”
Gary Ross, Beam Suntory World Spirits Vice President, adds, “As a creator, A$AP Rocky embodies the progressive ideals and bold artistry on which Courvoisier was founded, making him an ideal partner for the brand.”
A$AP Rocky lands his second number one album this week. The album moved 146,000 copies in the past week, which was more than enough to easily secure him the top spot.
This is the hip-hop star’s second number one album in a row. Back in 2013, his breakout debut full length Long. Live. A$AP. also debuted in the top spot, fueled by first-week sales of 139,000. His latest record secures his biggest week ever, surpassing his debut’s first week by only a few thousand units…though it is important to note that now the Billboard 200 incorporates streams into their methodology, whereas two years ago they did not.
